A really interesting day today starting with Te Reo Māori lessons alongside Councillors Edge, Robinson and Southworth.
This was followed by a catch up with my fellow Christchurch Central Councillor Genevieve Robinson to discuss our draft Long Term Plan consultation calendar.
Then during the afternoon we had Te Rōpū Tuia, the joint Canterbury Rūnanga Chairs and Councillor meeting where we discussed a range of topics from the development of the Draft Regional Policy Statement, the coalition government statement that they want to repeal the Canterbury Regional Council (Ngai Tahu representation bill) and an around the rohe update.
